IS THE PRODUCT QUALITY THE SAME NOW AS IT WAS SEVERAL YEARS
AGO?
We have received this question frequently relative
to the original "Commander" line. The only thing that has
changed in this line is that we no longer lacquer coat the kennel after
the zinc plating process. We still make this line of kennels by the
same methods employed in the 1960's.. .wood molds and manually welded.
WHAT ARE THE SIZES OFFERED OF THE PRODUCTS?
You will find all the sizes that we manufacture
for our various products listed under PRODUCT information on our website.
Kennel-Aire manufactures products as small as 20 inches in length up
to 54 inches.
WHAT KIND OF COATING IS PUT ONTO THE WIRE PRODUCTS?
All of our wire products are plated with a high
quality, durable, attractive clear or gold colored zinc electro-plating.
Zinc plating ensures a long life. To add color, we also offer painted
crates in a number of colors: black, blue, gray, burgundy, etc.
DOES KENNEL-AIRE CUSTOMIZE OR DO MADE TO ORDER ITEMS?
Unfortunately it is not economical to manufacture
a custom ordered item and still be able to keep the price at an affordable
and competitive level. Therefore, we try to offer several sizes and
some different styles to meet as many consumer demands as possible.
WHAT GAUGE WIRE IS USED ON THE CRATES?
The wire gauge varies by type of crate. The main
ones used are 6-, 9- and 12- gauge wire. See the specifications on each
type for actual gauge.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE "FOLD & CARRY" AND THE "PIN SERIES" CRATES?

The "Fold & Carry" crates fold into a suitcase-like package with a handle in the center.

The "Pin Series", a.k.a. "Square-back", take apart with pin construction into a flat package due to the interlocking panel construction. These crates are put together by use of a "Shepard's hook" pin.

The Professional Fold & Carry crates have a smaller 1-inch square mesh.
